Jennifer Yocom
Jennifer Yocom recently moved to Townshend from Thetford, VT, where she’d lived for nearly 40 years. She is a retired K-12 music teacher, and has been active in church music for 30 years, first as the choir director for the Congregational Church in Lyme, NH, and then as the pianist and choir director for the Norwich Unitarian Universalist Church of the Upper Valley. Jennifer also founded and directed Full Circle, a community chorus, and she directed the Kendal Chorale, at the retirement community in Hanover, NH. She graduated from Westminster Choir College a long time ago! Jennifer and her husband, Ray Chapin, have two sons— Thomas, who lives in Corinth, VT with his wife and two daughters, and Sam who’s in Jamaica, VT with his wife and daughter. Jennifer is also the market manager at the Townshend Farmers Market. She and Ray love to travel to places where he can fly fish and she can enjoy nature/ wildlife.
