Newfane Church’s Mission is: As members of the Newfane Congregational Church our mission is to see and learn to love the world as God does.

Our goals are for all ages and all people:
1) To witness God’s Love by sharing with and caring for people in our local and global communities.
2) To provide meaningful worship in a welcoming atmosphere.
3) To offer enrichment through opportunities for learning, spiritual growth, and service BOTH collectively and individually.
4) OPEN AND AFFIRMING COVENANT:
With joy and celebration, the Newfane Congregational Church declares itself to be an open and affirming congregation. We welcome all who seek to follow Jesus to share in the full life and ministry of the church. We value each person as a beloved child of God and celebrate the diversity God has created. Whatever your age, race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, physical, cognitive, or emotional ability, we invite you to grow with us in faith and love. Whoever you are and wherever you are in life’s journey, you are welcome here.

Even in laid back Vermont, life is often hectic, focused on activity and
material concerns. The Church’s place on Newfane Common is a reminder
that life has a spiritual component, and that values like “faith, hope, and
love” are of greater significance to life’s fulfillment than the materialistic
values of consumption and activity that predominant in our culture.
